Another option would be to create a simple online survey and then post a link to it, describing the nature of the research and what your hypotheses are, in the LinkedIn PMI Project, Program and Portfolio Management group as that will also likely garner a fair bit of input.

Dear Roy,
For better distribution of your poll, you can use the free software "Survey Monkey". This software allows you to create a form with all the questions you need to ask. You can distribute the poll link to the contacts you want. Users access the link and answer the questions. The software stores the data and present you a report.
