Zaeem Aziz Program Manager| Walkinshaw Automotive Group Melbourne, Vic, Australia

Hi All,

I work in Melbourne, Australia within Engineering Product Development. I'm employed within the Automotive Industry. My role has expanded significantly to include responsibilities additional to traditional PM functions. At a high level, new responsibilities are the Commercial space and include:
-Business Development
-Pursuit / Bid Management
-Commercial Management
-Client Relationship Management
-Account Management

What would be an appropriate Title? I have 12+ years experience and PMP certified.

Thanks in advance.

This could be a Product Owner, a Product Manager or a Delivery Manager depending on which responsibilities take the bulk of your time.

Kiron Bondale has made a great comment. I was in the same situation than you. My recommendation, trying to add something to Kiron´s comment. Push your organization to clearly define all related to your role mainly if things that annual bonus are tied to that. In the list you share there a hugh mix of not matching things. For example, commercial management.

Zaeem, I do agree with Kiron. However, if your organization is a small one, then usually PMs tasked with doing some of the activities you've listed. For example, as PMs with more than 20 years of experience, we do those activities in our organization and the title we have is: Senior Project & Development Manager!
