Hi all.. has anyone been to one of the Synergy events (London) before? Is it an all day sit-down affair with the speakers, or more of a series of "drop-in" type seminars and trade stands?

Unfortunately, I have not - Although one of our other members from the UK may have -- I'll reach out and see if he can weigh in! Saving Changes...

I have been for a couple of years and it is great. It's at Central Hall Westminster where it was last year and I imagine it will follow the same format.
It's a big lecture theatre style venue with a balcony up top and round tables down below (I think you pay more for those or they are invite only, I don't remember how the seat allocation works). You sit and listen to the speakers - there is only one track and no smaller sub groups. There is a trade stand area which is where they serve tea and lunch.
If you don't fancy any of the speaker sessions then of course you don't have to attend them - just leave the hall at the appropriate time.
It's always struck me as a very different feel for a conference and I would recommend it - one of the two events I have paid to attend this year! Saving Changes...
