I recently noticed that PMI has introduced the Cognitive Project Management for AI (CPMAI) certification, which sounds like an exciting opportunity for learning and growth. However, I've observed that the certification fees are significantly higher than those of most other PMI certifications. Could anyone share insights on why the market positioning of this certification is so different?

Hi Uzma, did you end up taking the exam? If so, can you share more about it, any resources you used to prepare I am contemplating purchasing the course, but am not prepared to start it and the 90-day clock yet.
Yes, I did complete the course and take the exam. I purchased this course on the cognilytica.com website, which is now retired. And it looks like it's different from what PMI is offering now.

I was also looking into this but the cost of the certification is really high (I think it's a joke tbh). Looks like PMI is trying to squeeze people to make money instead of equipping them to properly address market trends. I think this should be a top-up to your PMP (you are already paying your PMI membership and PMP renewal fee). So, something circa 200 or 250 max could work. 699? No way. (Btw if PMP becomes less relevant in the future I may consider forgoing it and finding something more relevant and with better value for money...)

I am almost at the last lesson of CPMAI training (the full version). First of all, this is a very well designed and comprehensive training which brings together various concepts. Thank you to Cognitytica team!

I have a question about the exam: Is there a way to practice the exam before trying our lock with the real exam?

Farnaz Abroon, I'm looking into this course and certification as a way to improve and showcase my skills in using GenAI to manage projects. Could you share your experience with the course in terms of not only leading projects to implement AI tools within the organization, but also using AI tools to help manage traditional projects using predictive, hybrid, or Agile frameworks?

I use AI regularly with my projects, so I'm hoping to see how others use AI tools to help with project management.
