One product I worked on that left a mark in the community was an RPA (Robotic Process Automation) automation project. By automating routine, time-consuming tasks for local businesses, we significantly improved operational efficiency, reduced human error, and allowed employees to focus on more strategic work. This not only enhanced productivity but also helped businesses better serve their customers and respond more agilely to market demands, ultimately contributing to the growth of the community and its businesses.

Hi Verónica! I would like to mention one project I delivered while I was part of the IT department of a non-for-profit organisation. We installed managed internet access for over 100 locations across Ireland. After the install, service users experienced a great improvement, because we incorporated network aggregation and balancing for those locations where broadband was not available. I was lucky to work with a great project team that make that long project run very smoothly. After it, I can say I am a big fan of SD-WAN

As a Technology Development Project Manager, I pioneered a transformative methodology for product project management within a community of researchers and innovation services, significantly impacting Brazil's industry. This methodology was designed to streamline collaboration and innovation processes, enabling researchers to work more effectively with industry partners. By facilitating seamless integration of cutting-edge research with practical industrial applications, we were able to accelerate the development of innovative products and services. This approach not only improved the efficiency and effectiveness of research initiatives but also fostered the creation of valuable business opportunities, addressing complex industrial challenges with agility and precision.

One of my first projects was to implement an automotive air pollution control program, it was the first of its kind in Cali, Colombia. The project involved setting up the inspection procedure, training the technicians and traffic police, and connecting the gas analysis instruments to a bespoke computer software. We faced all kind of technical challenges, but probably the most difficult part was navigating politics and working with the vehicle owners. I'm happy to have spent my early career years working on this field.
