Has anyone leveraged Gen AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance vendor management and risk assessment in multi-vendor projects? Interested in hearing specific applications and any lessons learned in complex vendor environments.

You do not need leverage those tools except you like to add your own knowledge. In this case, you have to do some type of RAG or Fine Tuning. Just the key is clear understand that prompts have follow a format to get the expected answer.

I find AI useful as a sounding board and to identify additional unknowns. For example, feed in a project description and a list of potential risks, advise AI the persona to take on and ask for suggestions of additional risks.
