Veronica, both soft and hard skills are essential for a Project Manager’s success. However, I believe that soft skills tend to play a slightly more prominent role in the day-to-day execution of a project.

Hi Verónica Elizabeth Pozo Ruiz I agree that both hard and soft skills are necessary. However, I think I agree with Rami that soft skills are a little bit more important than hard skills. I believe that soft skills comes with years of experience which plays a crucial role in handling people and communication which are 2 of the most important aspects of project management. Without soft skills, that aspect could lead to a messy side.
On a personal note, I consider my ability to research and find answers to something that I dont know and establishing solid lines of communications and expectations in a project to be some of my main abilities.

While I strive to develop both, I consider my main strength to be my ability to listen effectively. Active listening allows me to understand my team's needs, anticipate challenges, and align stakeholders toward common goals.
By truly hearing and valuing input from others, I can foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and ensure that everyone feels engaged and supported. This foundation in listening enhances my ability to lead with empathy, make informed decisions, and drive projects to successful outcomes.

It's true Francisco, active listening is one of the most important soft skills to manage adequately the situations of a project. This skill helps you to be aware of the needs of the various stakeholders.
