The task of scheduling construction projects is becoming more complex every day due to factors such as weather conditions or resource availability caused by wars, etc. Would it be possible to develop an artificial intelligence tool that would allow a project manager to work with several scenarios for each combination of events?

From technical perspective, I think it’s possible to develop an AI tool that simulates multiple scenarios for construction projects, factoring in variables like weather, resource availability, and external events, helping project managers optimize schedules and make informed decisions. Wish you all the best in sourcing the suitable solution in the market!

Hi Jorge

What a fascinating question! Yes, it's definitely possible to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to optimize capital project scheduling, considering constraints like cost, resource availability, climate events, and more.

LLMs can process vast amounts of data, identify patterns, and generate scenarios to help project managers make informed decisions.

By integrating domain-specific knowledge and data, an AI tool can be developed to simulate various scenarios, predict outcomes, and recommend the best schedule for a project.

i seem that It's an exciting area of research with huge potential benefits for the construction industry!

Thank you

In this case you do not need LLM. There are tools that uses AI for doing that. They are available from long, long time ago.
