Here are the "key themes" captured in the "summary sheets" from the PMI Congress X-Change breakfast table discussions - please do respond with any insights/ideas/reactions:

*Agile works!
*A success factor in adopting agile is breaking down dependencies between systems and departments
*Agile requires engagement on all levels
*Educate leadership about agile and have a process to support agile and waterfall together
*Crucial to balance priority - requires schedule vs value trade-offs
*Change, change, change

Yes, I am in favor of educating leadership on agile but I do not think we can tag waterfall along for long. Till the time people accept this change we can talk about agile and waterfall together but ultimately, we have to divorce waterfall at some stage. It is just the matter of time.
