Unfortunately, the global information by credential used to be available, first in PMI's PM Network magazine and then in this community but over time it has been modified to only provide the total number of certification holders globally across all certifications.
You could use the certification registry to get a list of certified folks by country but then you'd have to count the PgMP holders manually AND some folks might have opted out of having their info in the registry so it wouldn't be completely accurate.
I'd recommend sending a request to PMI Customer Care for this - they might not provide you the info for all countries but they might provide you a global total for PgMPs plus the number from a specific country.
Laura Schofield &
Kimberly Whitby, please do raise this "regression" in information provided with the powers that be at PMI. I see no valid reason to hide this information - if anything, it might act as an incentive for some folks to pursue a given credential. The certification registry on PMI's website could be easily modified to enable such searches to get summary data by credential or by country - this would be a very quick coding change and would earn (back) a lot of good will.
