Participants in this discussion identified emerging technologies as a needed component of knowledge transfer. They particularly notes wiki's and mobile device interfaces.
These are especially important in environments that support virtual teams.

I find that interesting - mobile technologies seem to be a really hot topic when it comes to tools, but I haven't yet seen any really good implementations of mobile - nothing that takes it beyond a desktop implementation.
