How can AI be integrated into managing a small to medium non-profit organizations in a hostile and volatile context with slow technological development, without disrupting the project’s alignment with its environment?
In such cases, you'd likely want to look for opportunities for AI capabilities to assist or augment the work already being done as opposed to taking over activities. That approach might be an easier change to absorb for your stakeholders.

Insightful. I completely agree that starting by using AI to assist or augment existing work is a practical and stakeholder-friendly approach to driving ‘change and development’.
I’m also reflecting on its potential during times of crisis (such as armed conflict), where real-time data is crucial for informed decision-making for project teams. In such scenarios, AI can be invaluable for organizations with limited resources, helping them respond swiftly to emerging activities amidst disruption. However, I also recognize that AI is a double-edged sword—while it offers efficiency and precision, its integration must be carefully managed (and ethically sourced) to avoid unintended consequences, particularly in volatile contexts where time is of the essence. And I am wondering if there are good practices already in place. Thank you!

Simple: I can assure they are using AI without notice that. AI is around us from more than 50 years ago. For example inside refrigerators, air conditioners, cel phones, construction machines, etc, etc. So, the first thing is to understand AI is a board term.

That’s an interesting perspective! I hadn’t considered how extensively AI operates in the ‘background’ of our daily lives, seamlessly integrated into everyday technologies like refrigerators, air conditioners, and phones. It’s a helpful reminder that AI is a broad and longstanding concept—thank you for sharing this insight.
