Hi Balaji, I think Best Practices are just being delivered based on experience. It's not available a clear suit of Best Practices right now.
From my experience, you can use IA in different stages, for instance to inspect your planning or help you dealing with the Backlog. Other nice space is communications, you could automate some type of communications, and taking advantage of IA to help you with complex communications (letters) with customers or sponsors. The posibilites are wide, it depends on your project. This is my opinion, good luck with your IA initiatives, do not forget to share your experiences.

Juan, you caught my attention when you wrote that you use it to help deal with your Backlog. Do you have suggestions for engineering the prompt(s)?

Thanks a lot for the revert, Juan. Definitely, I will get back and share my experience once the project succeeds.

I am just getting into this myself. The more I understood the capabilities and limitation, the more I realized that you need to experiment and when you want to implement GenAI into your project, start small. Keep it simple.

Hi Balaji,
Thanks for your Discussions at Project Management Central,

For your information, are follows :
Natural Language Processing (NLP): Can use NLP to automate documentation, create meeting summaries, and extract insights from project communications.

AI Ethics and Bias: Make ethical considerations by regularly monitoring AI models for bias and ensuring transparency in the decision-making process.

Computer Vision: Monitor project progress through image analysis. Using computer vision for tasks like automating quality checks on projects can be beneficial.

By integrating these practices, I believe we can harness the full potential of generative AI.

What other practices do you think are essential for successful AI integration in project management?

Best,
Golam Rob

Thanks Golam Rob for the revert.Insightfull, I am in the initial stage and need to get more inputs and work on more open AI tools to get adequate knowledge and research further.

You will find a lot of good information inside the PMI courses delivered for free. I am not an advocate of courses delivered for the PMI but in this case they are useful. Just to comment, I am working in the number 1 consulting firm in the world in the IT field and we are on top of AI and mainly on generative AI talking about research and practical implementation in our clients and using it internally. Beyond that I am using and researching on AI from 1989. The key point with generative AI is the component called Responsible AI. That is "the headache". With that said, all the other things, still remain the same than when you use AI in projects because as you know AI is using in projects from more than 40 years ago. So, because it is not enough room here, as I mentioned before, take a look to PMI´s courses because they will help on that.
