Clearly, honestly, without spin, and as rapidly as possible. Treat the team like adults who can cope with such subjects, and if they are a good team they'll rise to the challenge and meet that expectation. Agree with Bernard. The issue I have had when redundancies happened in my previous company is that the remaining staff worry (quietly) about when it is going to happen to them. Keeping morale high while watching your colleagues leave is tough. Saving Changes...
