Imagine that you are a Project Management Consultant and a client ask your advice on which type of structure should be chosen for a PMO to be created, how would you determine which type of structure is more appropriate? Here is an article with some ideas. http://bit.ly/1paSLFi.

What is your opinion? How would you decide which type of structure is more appropriate?

If the Company is doing Projects as part of other businesses in the Organization, then the Organizational Structure is Matrix.

If the Company is doing Projects as Main line of their major business, then its a Projectized Organizational Structure.

If the Company is doing business not relating to Projects , then its a Functional Organizational Structure.
