Being polite ?

A Project Director, in Asia side of the world, says being polite does not yield results for a Project Manager in terms of getting things done. What's your opinion guys?

I think the question can be answered by this: does he really think that being impolite will lead to better results?

Now of course you need more that been polite. You need to be able to manage, or better, be a strategic project leader.
