The first months of the year are a period when we focus on our vision and perspective about the projects ahead of us.  As a Project Manager, ¿what would you like to achieve that you have not yet been able to attain?

Right now, I'm interested in applying GenAI to project management roles and responsibilities, making templates, and improving my skills in this area. I might be wrong, but it seems like I'm back in the era when people first started using computers in their day-to-day activities. So much to learn, and can help others learn more about it, but the only difference I could feel is that there are too many GenAI products and tools, some of which are paid and some are open source, to choose from. Understanding which one is going to suit your needs better is tough but important.

It's a good projection, Nikher. Staying up-to-date with the latest advances in AI allows us to take advantage of the technology's best benefits to apply to Project Management.

As I step into new roles at PMI in Brazil and the Global Headquarters, a key goal is to foster community engagement and collaboration. Initiating workshops, webinars, and mentorship programs.
Simultaneously, I aim for global recognition as a project expert involves active participation in international conferences and contributing to industry publications. Additionally, pursuing advanced certifications and leading innovative projects can enhance my credibility and demonstrate my commitment to advancing the field of project management.

Thank you so much! By any chance, did you attend PMXPO2025? They had some amazing sessions related to GenAI. If not, you can still check out the sessions.

The future as a Project Manager is about growth, impact, and continuous learning. Many aspire to lead larger, more complex projects, improve stakeholder management, or master emerging technologies. Personally, I’d focus on refining leadership skills, driving innovation, and mentoring teams to create lasting value.
