Why does in all the US main construction "Project Delivery Systems" such Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) or Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) the term or role of "Project Management" does not even occur / exist ?
Many thanks for your comments and feedback. Saving Changes...
It is really just a difference in nomenclature. The PM title means different things to different people based on their past experiences. Some places it is a very responsible position but an administrative role at others. At places where it is an admin role, other titles are often invented for more responsible positions such as Construction Manager, Technical Project Manager, Project Engineer, and others.
Different titles are also used for brand differentiation. Businesses marketing a PM approach focused on construction for example, will create new names for various existing concepts and terms terms to set their product apart from the competition. Saving Changes...

Dear Keith, sorry for the late repsonse.
You are right, it often looks like different communities and regions use a different working for similar topics and roles.
My understand so far is that the so-called "Project Delivery Systems (PDS)" cover only engineering and construction services which deliver "tangible outputs". Project management will like expert or legal advisory only considered as on top consulting services. Saving Changes...
