Having in lived in Germany, I can share that Germans are extremely proficient in time management. If you're not early, you're late in that culture.

I also lived in Germany and second what Michelle noted (didn't know you lived there, Michelle!). Germans are very hardworking during work hours, but when the day is over, they leave and go home. In my experience, they don't take work home with them. Home is for family time. Saving Changes...
