With the advent of online presence, including social media, AI tools/apps, I would say that overall the experience of online presence is positive. What do you think? What is your opinion? People can access online studies to suit their lifestyles, discuss what interest them. Publish videos, books etc online. Saving Changes...
As usual, it comes down to how they are used, not their basic purpose. A knife can be a useful tool for a chef to create a culinary masterpiece or a lethal weapon in the hands of a killer.

Online presence and digital tools have expanded access to knowledge and global connectivity, but their true value lies in how they drive the development of human capabilities. Beyond technology, what is essential is to strengthen critical thinking, creativity and adaptability, key skills for navigating an ever-changing world. While digitization facilitates learning and collaboration, it is our ability to innovate, lead and build relationships that really makes the difference. The key is to balance the use of technology with the development of human potential, ensuring that digital tools are a means and not an end.

Hi Kiron and Rami, I agree with your point of view. However, it is up to each individual as a logical, mature; having critical-thinking, to use the online facilities correctly and with purpose. Despite the risks of cyber bullying and other nefarious uses of the online facilities, the Online facilities have provided a voice to the voiceless. It allows for different views to be heard and maybe the truth to be known. It has democratized communication for the masses.

Jean, couldn't agree more with Kiron's feedback. It is the core use of the facility what determines whether it will be beneficial or detrimental! Saving Changes...

Yes, I think online capabilities are useful overall, even if some effects bother.
They enable building the human hive when everybody can communicate with everybody else, building on the diversity we have, democratizing knowledge and assets, and more going forward.

Yes, Thomas I agree fully with you. Despite its many risks, online facilities have overall provided an avenue for democratizing access to and publishing of one's views, for mainly the voiceless. Whereas before we relied only on newspapers and the television now anybody can publish his/her views, of course, with caution. And we can have access 24x7. I think the inventors of the Internet have achieved their main goal which is to leave no stones unturned.

The online presence has revolutionised education, work and global connectivity, offering flexible access to knowledge and new opportunities. However, it also presents challenges such as misinformation and digital dependency. The impact depends on the balance: if used with purpose, it can be a powerful tool for growth and transformation. What do you think about its challenges? 😊

Hi Fabian, despite its challenges the Internet with its online facilities, have improved communication for the voiceless. It requires maturity for the individual who uses the online facilities to critically evaluate and use these online facilities. It's like somebody goes to university. He./she can make bad use of his/her knowledge or he/she can choose to use his/her knowledge for justice, equality, democratising knowledge for others, that is for the good of humanity or for the detriment of others, just like some use the online facilities to smear and bully others, ruining their lives. So again I say the Internet facilities were invented for mature people with critical thinking, wisdom and knowledge. As the proverb says, 'to the wise more wisdom is beneficial but for the fools it is not rewarding'

Online facilities offer both advantages and disadvantages. They improve connectivity and provide greater access to resources.
But they also present risks such as misinformation and potential mental health issues.
The effects of online facilities are complex, with significant benefits that can enhance individual lives and society as a whole.
However, these benefits are countered by serious risks that require careful management and regulation. It is essential to balance these aspects to maximize the positive outcomes while minimizing negative consequences.

Hi Golam, totally agree with your point of view. But the main objectives of the inventors of the internet have mostly been achieved, which are the democratisation of the ability to make one's voice heard, democratise knowledge and education, and whoever wants to use these technologies can learn to do so with perseverance and intelligence.
