Hi,
I'm looking for guidance on how many PDUs can I claim as an Instructor for conducting a 35 hours of PMP or 23 hours of CAPM exam prep class? I usually conduct at least 1 such class every month for an ATP.

I'd suggest contacting PMI Customer Care for this query as my belief is that you would not claim PDUs for what is your "normal" PM-focused job. Similar to managing a project, teaching PM-related courses as your job should earn the usual 8 PDUs over your three year certification cycle. Over the five years I was teaching PM courses, I never claimed PDUs for individual sessions.

If you were doing this as a "one off" at a conference or for a chapter, then it would be a different case.

Thanks for the guidance, Kiran. May be you are right. I'll check with PMI Customer Care and if I hear anything different, will post it here for everyone's benefit.
