I wonder if companies are really looking for professionals with these certifications, and will these companies be willing to pay the proper compensation for them, are they really valuable in the job market? Saving Changes...
My general rule for certifications is that there is a lot of knowledge that can be helpful for project managers, but only a few certifications. Certifications are worth having when they help you accomplish something more than a dopamine hit. Is a certification required for a job you want? Worth it. Loading your resume with multiple certifications that aren't relevant to jobs you're applying for? Not worth it.
What use cases do you see where certifications add value? Saving Changes...
Aaron Porter, thanks for your reply, the cases where certifications add value are certainly those that require proof of the skills and knowledge. Nevertheless, for that to occur with any certification it should be well known and trusted by organizations, like PMP, but for those two I mentioned, not so many know them, perhaps that is the issue that causes the lack of interest in these certifications.
