Hi James,

Apart from the knowledge gained by getting PMP certification,it is also very important for carrier advancement because in well organized companies each position holder shall have competence & proof of his/her competency(qualification or certification).So,if you are looking your carrier in consttruction,i strongly recommend to go for PMP certification.

On the other hand project management is nothing but just to implement knowledge,skills,tools & techniques on project activities to get the project objectives.
