In project management, emotional intelligence and human touch are key to building strong relationships and keeping the team motivated. Being aware of both your own and your team's feelings helps create a positive and supportive work environment. By listening, understanding, and being flexible, a project manager can help the team work better together, manage stress, and solve problems in a calm and effective way. This makes sure everyone stays focused and the project runs smoothly, even when things get tough.

Project managers must possess a high level of emotional intelligence, both interpersonal and intrapersonal. Intrapersonal emotional intelligence allows them to understand themselves well and manage and control their own emotions. Interpersonal emotional intelligence allows them to understand the emotions of others and build good relationships with project stakeholders.
Both intelligences are very important for the development of a project manager.
