Hello Everyone,
My name is Dipanshu Sehgal. I am looking to apply for CAPM. To be eligible, At least 23 hours of project management education is required.
Could anyone help me understand how can i complete 23 hours of training that also helps me prepare for the exam?

Dipanshu, you can take a course online. Check Udemy, there are lot's of courses there but I recommend the ones for Joseph Philips as he is PMI ATP, and his courses are solid and for affordable prices. Good Luck!

In addition to Udemy, as recommended by Rami, you can access many courses for free on LinkedIn Learning if you have a premium membership. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the trial period to explore the content and course format. Saving Changes...

Hi Dipanshu Sehgal - I agree w/ Rami Kaibni as far as registering for a Udemy.com account and searching for Joseph Phillips course (last name has two letter L's). I completed Joseph's courses ahead of passing both my CAPM and PMP certs. He's now advertising a new program called "PURE Project Manager Credential" and sent a notification that some of his courses may no longer be avail on Udemy soon, or at least limited courses may be available. With that, I do not have any experience with his "PURE" course/program. But as for the traditional PMP course he offered, I found it easy to follow, simple to understand, and it helped me build out a study schedule that worked for me. Also, search for no-cost online resources to help prepare for the actual exam, beyond just the 23 hours needed to be eligible for the exam.
Another note, no matter which instructor you choose, ensure they are a good fit for you and your learning style. On Udemy.com you can view short clips. Ensure the instructor is ATP-certified as Rami mentioned (ATP = Authorized Training Partner). Also, be sure the course you choose is relevant to the current exam version (PMI changes the exam version app every three years to keep the cert process competitive and in-demand). You can know the current exam version by logging into PMI.org and searching the "CAPM certification" exam content outline (ECO).
The biggest first step I would say to take is to start to fill out the PMI-CAPM application first! This will help you to know if the 23 hours is all you need to sit for the exam. Then, download and read the PMI CAPM exam content outline (ECO). Remember, also that if you are a student there may be exam discounts, and joining PMI as a member also provides a discount to the exam costs.
All the best and Congrats on your decision to earn your global certification!
