Hi, I am volunteering for my church to help plan a large scale women's retreat next year. Does anyone have a project schedule template that they would be willing to share for event planning?

Rhonda Wakefield That sounds like a wonderful initiative! You can use a general event planning template and customize it for your retreat. You can use a Gantt chart in Excel or Google Sheets to track tasks and deadlines. If you’re looking for a more detailed template, PMI or event planning websites may have free resources.

Good afternoon, to plan your church's women's retreat, start by defining its purpose and goals, then form a planning committee and create a detailed project schedule covering initiation, planning, execution, and closure phases. Key tasks include venue selection, program development, marketing, volunteer recruitment, and financial management. Allocate resources effectively, maintain clear communication, and be prepared to adapt to challenges, ensuring a successful and impactful retreat experience for all attendees.

That sounds like a wonderful initiative! While I don’t have a specific template to share, I can suggest some key elements to include in your project schedule. Consider breaking it down into phases like planning, logistics, marketing, and execution. Each phase can have tasks such as venue selection, speaker arrangements, catering, and promotion timelines. You might also want to include deadlines and assign responsibilities to team members. If you’d like, I can help you outline a more detailed schedule!
