The key fundamental PM skills won't change - strategic thinking, all four aspects of emotional intelligence and so on. Stronger emphasis on enabling sustainability and improving resilience while still delivering expected business results.

Pavan, for hard skills, professionals should have a minimum level of digital literacy. This doesn’t mean they need to be coding experts, but a solid understanding of how digital tools, AI, and automation work will be necessary to stay relevant in almost any field.

On the soft skills side, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving should be at the top of the list. As AI and automation handle more routine tasks, these human-centered skills will be what differentiate professionals. Additionally, emotional intelligence will be key for building relationships, managing teams, and navigating the ethical complexities of working alongside AI systems.
