I need help on writing a technical paper related to oil & gas projects, preferably Project Control activities. Is there any template?

I think checking other technical paper around the same topic would help you understand what contents goes in and how to structure it. After that, you can add your thoughts in individual sections and then use any AI tool to refine the wordings. Hope that helps.

Start with a clear structure: 1) Introduction (scope & objectives), 2) Methodology (tools & techniques used), 3) Challenges & Solutions, 4) Case Studies, and 5) Conclusion (key takeaways). Templates may be available in PMI or AACE resources.

There are templates for scientific articles, which may also apply to technical papers. For example:

1. Title, author
2. Abstract: purpose, method, findings, value
3. Introduction, purpose, context,
4. Literature, what has been said where
5. Method, how did you create new knowledge
6. Results, facts
7. Discussion, what does it mean for whom, what is still open
8. References
9. Appendices (data used)
