Jack, there are definitely lots of opportunities to leverage AI to improve PMOs performance. A few areas that comes to mind:

1) Enhanced decision making through the use of AI Data analytics (More evidence-based decision making).

2) Resource Allocation Optimization which is a core function of many PMOs.

3) Automated reporting, communication, and real time dashboards.

You have the opportunity to use generative AI in all your defined process using tools like Copilot mainly if you use Microsoft products for collaboration. And you have the opportunity to take a LLM for free and to create your own agents just in case you do not use Microsoft products.
