My justification for the same:
1)Project is temporary endeavor with definite start & finish.---Human body is also finite with a planned birth but may have unplanned death like complex projects.
2) Project is unique.----Is not every human body unique in its life span, its functioning etc.

I think it is definitely doable to have a life plan. Your life project will look more Agile than waterfall. The idea that you can plan in details your future life would be delusional. Saving Changes...

Your question itself contains the answer- the end date of project (if you consider human body as a project) is NOT definite in this case. So there is no defined scope. Secondly, human body is routine and only if a person is able to achieve his goal, it is unique. So goal becomes the project here and not the object used for it. Saving Changes...
From the perspective of transhumanism (h+), it is reasonable to say that the human animal, whether as a class or an individual unit is a project, something temporary to be progressively improved on or even superseded. For starters you could check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transhumanism. The notion of the 'overman' has a similar trajectory. Saving Changes...

Your life is a project and if you treat it that way, you will have a much better chance of setting and fulfilling goals. Some of these goals may relate to your body - keeping it healthy - and some of these may relate to life events - education, relationships, family. Others may relate to career goals.
Is your body a project? Yes! And so is your life! Saving Changes...

Definitevely our Life (and body is part of it) is a project sponsored by a BIG PROGRAMME.

Because we're not promised tomorrow. We don't know how long our body will be operable. Saving Changes...
However I beg to differ with those who don't think human body as project citing different reasons:
1)Melissa Hill----There are many projects that don't have definite end but they are progressively/iteratively planned during course of project such as nuclear projects which may have definite end but considering complexity of project definite end isn't decided in the beginning.
2) Madhavi Gopavajjula---Even with routine work, human body does many unique things every day that makes them different from other like their body, weight, brain, food habits etc.So I think they are unique.
3) Trevor Modeste--- Trans human concept..Seriously man no offense but I consider this extremely specific which is not found in all humans.(Maybe in superheroes like Thor,iron-man,Batman etc. Just kidding).... Saving Changes...
It is now widely acknowledged that the sun does not revolve around the earth. The confirmed existence of black swans rendered entire schools of thought obsolete. The prospect of complete body transplants from the neck down is imminent. Human organ farms that will provide spare parts including hearts are science and not fiction. While ethically contentious the advent of hybrid species is probably unavoidable. Augmenting humans with inorganic parts is already commonplace and making strides. Certainly, there are still those who believe the earth is flat. That can be explained by the fact that life is complex. Transhumanism may be at the extreme end of the spectrum but it seems to me that this is the leading edge. We are fast appoaching the singularity. Progress will not halt to let laggards catch up.

We can view the human body as a reactor, in which biological, mechanical, electrical and chemical activities are involved. The key to running these networks ideally in order to maintain a healthy condition is balance. A simple example of how our body keeps itself in harmony is the feedback mechanism that occurs during blood sugar regulation.
I hope if dogs ever take over the world, and they choose a king, they don't just go by size, because I bet there are some Chihuahuas with some good ideas.
