I have a question! I read a blog about how to take the exam, online or at the centers. What would you recommend? One more clarification, is it possible to take exams in different languages at the centers? If the certification description specifies several different languages, will the center allow me to take the exam in a language other than English? Saving Changes...
I'd strongly recommend downloading the PMI certification handbook and reading it thoroughly as it would answer your questions about localization of the exam content as well as others. You can access it here: https://www.pmi.org/-/media/pmi/documents/...on-handbook.pdf
I'd also suggest reviewing the FAQs on PMI's website about the online experience, but it really comes down to your own personal exam taking preferences. If you are likely to feel more relaxed taking it from home and are comfortable that your computer equipment and Internet connection are reliable then that might be better than having to travel to a test center.

Darya, I recommend taking your exam at a Pearson VUE center. I've heard numerous stories from people who took their exams online, only to face issues like internet disruptions or sudden disconnections from the exam system. These technical difficulties can add unnecessary stress.
By choosing a center, you can focus more on the exam itself and worry less about technology. In a center, the providers handle all the technical aspects, whereas with an online exam, you're responsible for everything. It’s worth considering to avoid any potential complications.
Regarding language, I believe the certification exam is available in different languages but you need to request this in advance. If there is no option to choose this when you fill in your application or book for your exam, then I suggest you connect with PMI customer service to inquire about it. The certification handbook that Kiron referred to might also contain some useful information. Saving Changes...

Hello Darya, From personal experience, opting for a proctored exam is better. Pearson VUE provides you with an app that will test your computer system efficiency and connectivity. A human proctor will be available throughout the exam for the purpose of proctoring and helping you if a problem might arise. Also, it is relatively easier to apply for, since there are more available slots, all while enjoying the comfort of your home or office.
As for the translation availability, it rather depends on the exam taken and the desired language of translation. Different languages are available for different exams for both proctored and center-based exams. check the handbook for more details. Saving Changes...
It is up to you and your preferences. As far as I know, the exam is available in some other languages. Please reach out to PMI team and website for more detailed info. Saving Changes...
Hi, Jessica. If, during the scheduling process, the candidate chooses to take the exam in a language other than the original English, they can click a button at any time to view (via a pop-up) the original English text of the question (including the question stem and answer choices).
To change the language selection, the candidate must reschedule through Pearson VUE.
Does anyone know if selecting a different language during the exam will show the translation in English
