The question is would new Internets developed by groups and/or countries be beneficial to mankind? I believe so, as it would allow for a diversity in The Internet implementation and allow easier exchange of information. For example Russia and China have already been developing their own internet based on the blueprint of The Internet. also developing new internets will allow the inclusion of new technologies like Photonic computing and Quantum computing.to make The Internet more resilient. These advancement will confirm the goals of the inventors of The Internet as an entity that cannot be destroyed and anyone with the required skills an knowledge can connect to The Internet. and expand The Internet reach. The Internet can include previous technologies like Mainframes, minis and micro supercomputers and other micros also in many different ways and new Telecommunications inventions. Unlike Le Minitel, The Internet was designed as an entity that evolves with time and new technologies.
The possibilities are endless and the sky is the limit.

Anybody can search online and verify that the modern computing and the availabilty of the modern Internet with its accompanying newer technologies became available around early 1990's. So it is at least from these technologies and newer available technologies like low orbit satellite internet Optical fibre, higher orbit satellite communications, Photons beams with Quantum satellites, Light computing technologies, etc that new technologies should be developed, not on older technologies. The Internet was designed to be a technology that cannot be obliviated after reaching a critical mass, be it by Nuclear war or whatever the calamity. Nowadays anyone with the skills, knowledge and resources can add his/her network to the Internet thus expanding The Internet. Designed as a Redundant-focused technology, The Internet should be available through satellites, photonic beams (with quantum encrypting satellites, as recently proven by the test link between China and South Africa), phone towers, fibre optics, wireless, and even Electric grid, as well as any new technologies should used in The Internet. We can also interface satellite phones with The Internet.
