Is anyone else really unhappy with this new website?

I dislike the layout and in particular all the adverts?
It "feels" very cluttered, which rarely helps as an organisational style...

I find it both very messy and very slow loading.

a) can the ads be switched off by each user?
b) given that we are already paying a decent sum annually, I struggle to see why we should be subject to these, especially so many and so obtrusively placed

HI John, I can't say I find it either messy or slow to be honest. What browser are you using? I'm on ie8 (gulp) and also Chrome here on a Windows 7 desktop & it looks aok & loads fast.

I think for the vast amount of functionality projectmanagement.com provides, the interface, while somewhat cluttered, is very easy to use once you become familiar with it. It's that old learning curve versus functionality curve isn't it? While web sites with only five buttons are nice, functionality suffers in my opinion, since you end up having to peer into the mind of the site creator to really know under which of the five buttons the content you want lives.

In short - I like it the way it is.

In terms of speed, yes, it is a little slow at times, especially on the networking tabs where it is finding people with similar interests, geographic proximity, and so on. But then again, it is sorting through millions of records. It is possible a little advanced indexing might help with that.
