Guys hope you are doing well, I am thinking to write content on effective SOW writing with some practical guidelines. Do you think it will be worth an attempt?

While it is unlikely that any topic you come up with won't have been written about extensively already, if you put your own ideas and spin on it, it will likely be well received. And, as with restaurants and houses, location-location-location (for where you post it) is critical!

I certainly think it is worthwhile. It is a subject with a lot of aspects to it that can be very important to the success of a project. Often it drives many types of downstream activities that are not obvious but often important.

What constitutes a quality SOW also continues to evolve in the digital age. Enterprise level integrated office systems benefit from data structure, but that's not necessary for all projects and environments.

I also find that the act of trying to explain important subjects clearly really forces you to organize your own thoughts so it is valuable in that aspect as well.

Writing about SOWs I believe is a great idea. It will help you learn more and also assist others. As Kiron mentioned, choose a platform that gives you good visibility and keeps your name on the content (keeps your authorship)

"It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much -- the wheel, New York, wars and so on -- whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man -- for precisely the same reasons."
