I have come across and still coming across job descriptions for PM positions that has the same thing repeated again and again. I am pretty sure most of us here dont list our soft skills in a list in our CV, rather we frame points to convey that we used that type of skill in a particular situation. If you were given a chance, how would you modify job descriptions?

Bisharah, I do list some of my soft skills on my resume. When you say "same thing repeated" in job postings, what specifically are you referring to?

Project Manager - "The Multitasking Octopus" "We are looking for a dynamic, proactive professional who can manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment."
Real translation: we need someone who does the work of three people and never complains.
Project Manager - "The Deadline Superhero" "Responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards."
Real translation: when chaos reigns and deadlines are impossible, you'll be responsible for saving the day (without extra support).
Project Manager - "The Wizard of Management" "Must have excellent skills in communication, leadership, negotiation, problem solving, risk management, strategic thinking, creativity and adapting to change."
Actual translation: we are looking for a unicorn who does everything, but we will pay a standard salary.
