M&A Post-Merger Communication Template

Would love some advice regarding templates to capture "who does what" post merger or post partnership.  Will modify for hospital system revenue cycle.  Trying to avoid organizational chart.  Thinking of organizing by area:  IS, Finance, Front-End (Sched/Registration), Middle- (Billing/coding), Back (Collection), AP, HR, etc.  Thoughts and references to templates or resources appreciated.

This sounds less like a communication plan and more like a work breakdown structure. As with a typical project WBS, you could choose to decompose the work by major deliverable, by post-merger phase, or by organization unit.

Cynthia, I highly recommend you create Responsibility Assignment Matrix which captures who does what at each stage of the transition.
