Good morning. Apologies if this question has been asked before. My PMI dashboard indicates that only 35 Education PDUs are required for me to renew my PMP certification, with at least 8 in each leg of the triangle. Yet, I am seeing information that states I need 60 PDUs. Which is it? 35 or 60? Saving Changes...
You need to earn 60 PDUs each 3 year renewal cycle for the PMP certification but those can be earned through a combination of Education (minimum 35) and Giving Back (up to 25).
So, you could earn all 60 PDUs from eligible education activities or you can earn up to 25 in the giving back category through activities such as volunteering for a Chapter, working in the profession or reviewing a pre-publication PMI standard.
