By increasing size of multi-dimensional arrays to represent pixels we can increase quality of displays as much as the memories in the machine will allow. Have anyone worked with pixels and can think of ways to increase quality of displays, e.g. Laptop Screen displays?

Hello Jean - thanks for your post. I find this site useful in finding ways to improve the quality of displays:

I hope this helps!

Thanks Kimberley for the link. It's mainly about using pixels. But very interesting.

What I was talking about is making pixels have more visual properties to find diseases in X-rays or Scans for example.

But thanks again, it was a very interesting article you linked me.

Cheers!

Jean, I would consider rephrasing your question. Your first post pertains to increasing the size of a display and the second is about the properties displayed by each pixel which are two fundamentally different problems.

Hi Keith thanks for pointing out the confusing part in my expose. But the two are the same!. Because by increasing the size of multi-dimensional arrays you get better quality.
Cheers! and thanks again.

Yes, Keith. It is using Vectors to represent pixels. Using Magnitude and Direction,.using nth dimensions axes. You may Google it, if there any explanation on The Internet.

Jean, I think you may be confusing eigenvectors with pixels.

Hi Keith, interesting point. But I am not using Linear transformations here. Although I am using matrices.
Cheers!

Hi Jean,
Absolutely! Increasing pixel density and using advanced technologies can really enhance display quality.

Exciting times for screens ahead!

Thanks Golam. This makes me remember when I first worked on pixels at university. My professor was doing research on human skeletons and eye movements. But he was using a mainframe terminal. And mainframe terminals uses squares that divides the screen. My Professor was using FRACTALS. So I told him use Kodak chrome film technology because I was a photography enthusiast at that time and I understood how the Kodak Chrome colour films work.. I did not know the word pixels at that time so I called it dots, but my Professor told me to call it pixels. That is high density pixels. applied to computers displays. This is how we implemented our version of pixels at my first university
