Best tool for reporting projects to leadership/board?

Hi,
We're looking for a PM tool that will allow us to report project status up to leadership and board. I've looked into a few but asking this group if anyone has experience and recommendations for a PM tool that has strong reporting capabilities built in. Need to it be easy to navigate.

Reporting is tied to the information needs of your stakeholders so I'd start there by finding out what they need and then work with them iteratively to determine how best to present that to them.

A lot will also depend on the availability of the source information and where it is located.

A report tool must not be consider in isolation from the whole tools that you use to manage the project. But I can say that I have been used "lot" of them from MS Excell with macros to more "sophisticated" like Jira Align. Other important thing is what your stakeholders like to see as information.
