Hello everyone,

Have any of you been part of an organization that's transitioned from predominantly Waterfall to Agile? If so, did you have any sort of Agile curriculum defined to help transition everyone over (for Executives down to the Project Teams and Stakeholders)? Got anything you'd be willing to share?

Would appreciate any insights you have.
Many thanks!

Hi Carol

yes, I have been involved in the transition from Waterfall to Agile on a number of occasions. Some have been better than others.

In my first move to Agile we didn't have any sort of curriculum - but took an Agile approach to becoming Agile. First off, basic training in the concept and tools. On our new understanding we then created an idea of what we wanted the organisation to look like (moving from silos of development/test resource to building larger, more fluid teams). Gradually, we improved our interactions, and processes increasing productivity, quality and delivery.
