Hi All, I am accessing the webinars from the new Project management site. Earlier from the PMI site I used to manually add the PDU's to my account. I heard one of the presenters saying that the PDU's even for a recorded webinar will get credited to my account after 10-15 days. Can someone please confirm this.

Hi Avinash,

Thank you for your question! The information you heard was correct. PDUs are automatically reported on behalf of participants of the live webinar, as well as those viewing the recording. You should see the PDU appear on your transcript within 10-14 business days.

Please reach out if you have additional questions!

Hi Marjorie, I have an additional question. I registered on projectmanagement.com with my personal E-mail. However, when I receive information about an interesting webinar to this personal Email, I usually forward it to my work Email, and then indicate my work Email when I sign up for webinars (I do this so I can add the webinar info into my Outlook calendar). Will PDUs still get automatically added to my profile, or is it impossible for you to reconcile that my personal Email and work Email are for the same person? And in this case, I guess I would need to add PDUs manually.

Hope my question makes sense.

Thank you.

Hi Anzor,

Thanks for reaching out about this. Sending the information to your work email versus your personal email so that you can add the webinar to your calendar does not affect your sign-on credentials. PDUs will be reported on your behalf as long as you are signing on to the site to access the webinar using your PMI.org username and password through single sign-on. Unless otherwise noted, you should not have to self report any PDUs.

I hope this information was helpful!

If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact me!

how can I find the recorded webinars for my Pdu's.

Hey Basavaraj.

First you select On-Demand Webinars from the Webinars menu (between Templates and Events).

You will find on the left side of the page many ways to filter the list. The ones I find most useful are the PMI Certifications (I have both the PMP and PMI-SP) and the PMI Talent Triangle (especially when you get close to completing PDUs for your cycle)"

Hi There,

I have a question - I was watching a recorded webinar, but had to stop midway because of audio issue and needed to restart my computer. So I log back on and resume the video from where I left off. Will I still get credit even though I didn't complete the webinar in one single sitting? Or will I have to log that manually?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

I've had similar experiences, especially when I put a recorded webinar on hold for too long. I look forward to the answer.

Hi Iris,

Great question! If you begin watching an on-demand webinar, have to step away, and then resume where you left off, the time tracker will pick up from where you left off and will award you the correct PDU as long as you finish the webinar in its entirety.

I hope that helps!

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!

Hi Marjorie,

I just concluded a webinar and was advised to self report this under the technical project management section to earn the PDU for this webinar. I have looked for the tab to enable me do this without, c

Hi Ekong,

For webinars that are self-report, please visit https://ccrs.pmi.org and log in with your PMI username and password to report the PDU under Education.

If you experience trouble, please contact [email protected].

I hope that helps!
