Can you please share what software you are using for project management? We are a medium sized financial institution and would love some feedback on what other banks are using for their project management. Saving Changes...
I work with a Financial Leasing company in Germany and we normally use the following tools for Project Management;
1. Microsoft Project - For Medium to Large Size projects
Often with multiple planning artifacts and levels, like a Master Plan containing only the milestones that integrate and track multiple individual functional stream plans.
2. Excel/Word - For small and maintenance projects
Normally small projects for us are ones that span anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 month. Here we normally use a WBS with assignments and the project manager actively tracks progress.
Additionally, we use a software called "confluence" to publish plans and communicate with all stakeholders (nothing to do with Project management I guess, but you might as well look into it) Saving Changes...
I am not working for a financial institution but to manage my team and my projects, I am using a very easy and useful software: Taskworld.
Thanks to it, you can organize your projects easily, drag & drop your tasks on a Kanban. Moreover, they propose a chat for you and your co-workers in order to manage your work quickly and to develop teamwork. And for me, the last advantage is that you can share your files in one secure place.
It''s for these advantages that I recommend you to try Taskworld. Maybe this software could respond to your needs.
