I have been looking for a source for an NPI Project Schedule template myself. The closest template I found was a Microsoft Project New Product Launch template file (attached as downloaded; dated from 2005). It is heavily Marketing oriented, covers the general topics and phases but is not nearly as detailed as would be needed for a high-technology, complex and/or durable product.
I suspect most immediately useful NPI task listings for those kinds of products that have enough detail would be kept proprietary by the firm using NPI processes. There are likely NPI templates embedded in the software offerings of PLM vendors such as PTC, Lascom, etc. If you received any useful templates as replies anonymously perhaps you could share those.
