Hi everyone

I will be going on maternity leave in October and my organization is considering seeking a temporary (ideally PT) PM professional to cover me while away. We are hoping for someone with a great deal of experience with facilities projects, especially in the context of non-profits or healthcare. Any leads of where we could look for consultants or temps for this sort of role?

Larisa, check with your local PMI chapter as most chapters often have members who are open to temporary or part-time roles. You might even find someone who’s semi-retired or consulting and would be ideal for a short-term engagement.

I'd also recommend posting the opportunity on LinkedIn, especially in relevant industry or regional groups. Be sure to include keywords like healthcare facilities, nonprofit, and contract PM to attract the right audience.

Good morning, It is recommended to engage with your local PMI chapter and other pertinent organizations capable of mobilizing resources for collaborative initiatives. Furthermore, we advise a clear delineation and mapping of key responsibilities for effective distribution among current colleagues. Where practical, exploring remote collaboration strategies could significantly broaden the scope of available resources.
