I'm thinking of purchasing a research report called "The Value of Project Management" prepared by the Center for Business Practices and advertised at pmsolutions.com. The full report is pricey--$395US--so before I invest in it, I wondered if anyone has seen it and can tell me whether there's any meat to it or not. I'm looking for objective, quantifiable evidence of the economic value of improving PM practices in a corporate setting. Thanks! Saving Changes...
Julie, did you purchase this report? I'm intersted in going for a mandate to improve project management practices company wide and I was wondering if you ended up getting this report and if so did you find it useful? Saving Changes...
We are alos looking at our PM function and would appreciate any insight into the value this resource. Other recommendation will also be appreciated. Thanks. Saving Changes...
Just to check back in, no, we didn't purchase this report (yet) because I didn't want to waste the money. I did talk to someone who had seen an abstract and wasn't terribly impressed, but that doesn't mean it's not good. I'm still looking for some compelling stats.... Saving Changes...
