UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT - INFORMATIONAL INTERVIEW

Hello,

I’m currently enrolled in a college course that encourages us to connect with professionals working in fields we’re interested in. As part of the assignment, I’m hoping to conduct a short informational interview (15–20 minutes) with someone currently working in project management—especially those with experience in remote or hybrid roles.

To share a bit about me: I’m an active-duty military member transitioning into a career in tech, and I’m exploring roles that align with project management, data analytics, and adjacent fields. I’m particularly interested in how people break into these roles, what their day-to-day work looks like, and what skills are proving most valuable right now.

If this isn't the right place to post a request like this, I’m very open to being pointed in the right direction. Are there other forums, communities, or platforms you’d recommend where professionals in this field tend to engage with students or career changers?
