Is anyone else finding they are prompted to log in more than once per day?

While the frequency has always been more than nearly every other website I use, I'm finding I'm being forced to log in much more frequently over the past few weeks. Today, I've had to log in twice already.

It would be great if the access control capabilities of the platform were improved to at least enable someone to remain logged in for a week or so.

Yes, Ive been encountering similar issues. Even when you move between this platform and pmi.org, it does ask to re-enter password in many cases.

Hi Kiron,

Yes, you're not alone—I've also noticed the login prompt appearing more than once a day recently. It can be a bit disruptive, especially when you're actively engaging in discussions or browsing through articles.

That said, I came across a minor Chrome feature that might help in some instances:

🔹 "Continue with these tabs" — This is a handy prompt that appears on the Chrome new tab page, showing frequently visited or recently active tabs, such as ProjectManagement.com.

If you're signed into Chrome and synced across devices, it allows you to quickly jump back into your session, even if you've been logged out. Not a complete solution, but a nice little shortcut.

Still, I totally agree with your point—it would be great if PMI could implement a "remember me for a week" option. Might save a few extra logins and clicks!

I'm experiencing the same issue, but I'm wondering if anyone else is encountering the following error in Chrome that I'm seeing. When I attempt to go to PMI.org I get a blank white page, but the URL changes to:

https://www.pmi.org/500-error-page?error=An+error+occured

The only way for me to get past this error is to delete the browser's cookies nearly every other day. At this point, I'm about to switch to Safari to use the PMI site and tools.

Has anyone else encountered this on Chrome, and what is your preferred browser of choice?

No, I haven't experienced this and am also using Google Chrome on a Windows 11 PC to access the community.

I’ve had the exact same issue in Chrome. Clearing cookies does fix it temporarily, but it’s frustrating to do that so often. I’ve started using Firefox for PMI-related stuff, and so far it’s been much more stable.

I have not encountered this issue when logging in from my phone. Have you found a difference when logging in from a PC or from a handheld device?

It is definitely more frequent when accessing the site via a PC-based web browser than from my phone.

You’re not alone, Kiron—I feel like I log in more times than I check my emails! A longer session would definitely make life easier.

Same here Kiron Bondale I log into this website more than 5 times a day. I can't stop, and my password is always auto-filled in all platforms. I'm happy to know that this is not applicable to me alone :)
