I'm applying for a new role and someone mentioned that a Project portfolio would be good to have on hand and send to interviewers. Has anyone put together anything like this? Did you find it useful? What format did you use and what info did you include?

Great question, Rebecca! A project portfolio can really stand out. I’ve used a simple PDF format with sections like: project name, timeline, goals, role, key achievements, tools used, and outcomes (with metrics if possible). Visuals like Gantt charts or dashboards help too. Keep it crisp, 1–2 pages per project. Totally worth sharing before interviews!

A portfolio would just be a list of key projects you have led or contributed to over the past few years. For each, you could provide the project objective/expected outcomes, the industry, the rough size (e.g. duration, budget) and what accomplishments or milestones you achieved. Bullet form for those is fine.

Portfolio it is more than just to have a template. My recommendation is take a closer look to that, just in case you are not aware on that.
