There is process, and then there is PROCESS.

The difference between too much and too little process, however, is not the number processes you have, but how effective and relevant they are to the organization.

Where should organizations draw the line in implementing process? Where do you look for help, and where do you scream 'enough'?

For me there is no line. It all has to do with aligning strategy to stakeholder value and then developing the processes to deliver that value.
As long as that focus is maintained there are no boundaries

Regarding process vs PROCESS, my thoughts are that final success is judged solely by client satisfaction. The client must 'buy in' to any process, and then that process must be managed to the clients expectations and desires.
