Many people wonder about this question, even if they don’t say it out loud. Some may avoid thinking about it, believing that AI could eventually replace humans. The reality is that no matter how much AI can support, manage, or contribute to various tasks, it cannot replace human beings in the workplace. AI still makes mistakes every day, and it cannot handle critical thinking, emotional intelligence, active listening, or many complex tasks and simulations.
In our company, we use AI tools in our projects on a daily basis, but there are still many areas that require deeper human input, such as pricing research, identifying suitable formulas for complex situations, and providing detailed analysis of price inflation for specific items across different years. These are examples where AI has not been able to provide the right answers.
Even in discussions, you can test AI by asking any question and then simply pointing out that the response is wrong; you’ll often see how it adjusts its answer, proving that it doesn’t fully trust its own data. This shows clearly why AI tools cannot replace human beings.
Responsible management can encourage employees to use AI tools as assistants in their daily tasks, while emphasizing the importance of reviewing and re-evaluating each output. This approach gives employees the opportunity to focus on applying their unique abilities—such as creativity, empathy, leadership, and critical thinking—to tackle more complex challenges and drive innovation within the organization.
